About

I’m Blair (she/they). I think about the governance of artificial intelligence through a trans lens.

My research addresses challenges of power, participation, and justice in AI governance systems.

I teach students, professionals, executives, public servants, and communities about AI policy & ethics.

I create experimental sci-fi, glitch art, and surreal worlds that expose frictions between gender, technology, and regulation.

I’m currently a final-year PhD Candidate at University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information. My research has been funded by a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship and three Ontario Graduate Scholarships.

I have a dog named Huxley and many nameless houseplants.
